The Reality of it All.

Either way it is fine.  Whether he did it or not does not concern me nor do I have any interest in knowing.  The Prosecution evidence was insufficient.  Hence he was ruled to be innocent.  That is the law.

Machiko Mayuzumi:  

But what about the truth?

Attorney Kensuke Komikado:  

Don't be so conceited.  We are not Gods.  We are just lawyers.    It is impossible to know what the truth really is.
